Security Service
The Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act) empowers banks / financial institutions to recover their non-performing assets without intervention of the Court.

The Act has made provisions for banks and financial institutions to take possession of securities given for financial assistance and sell the same in the event of default.

Our team of experts assists banks/ financial institutions and lenders for enforcing security interest.

The service includes:
  • Pre-takeover survey/ examination/ assessment of assets.
  • Legal verification of documents/ registration charges/ mortgaged property documents (title deeds).
  • Service of Notices.
  • Facilitating in takeover/ possession of assets.
  • Coordination with District Magistrate/ Metropolitan Magistrate for taking over possession (if required).
  • To prepare Panchnama / Inventory etc.
  • Preservation/ maintenance and security of assets (to act as custodian/ manager of secured asset and to provide security/ watch & ward for preservation and protection of secured assets including Insurance etc.).
  • Assisting in sale of assets through auction or otherwise (if required).
  • Facilitate in attending / contesting litigation arising during the course of enforcement.
